Summer Fun Festival

In October each year we put on a free festival and invite the local community.  Each year it has continued to grow and attract young and old alike.  Young families bring their children to enjoy the many events and games, while some of the older folks sit back and enjoy something to eat while listening to the live music.  Some of the attractions include: pony rides and a petting zoo mechanical bull riding zorb balls face painting shooting galleries with prizes children’s  arts and craft activities live music sausage sizzle, drinks, cakes, tea and coffee

Women of Worth (W.O.W.) Ladies’ Events

The demands of everyday life on many women can be extensive and challenging.  Creating and nurturing a healthy, happy and strong community of women where you can come and be encouraged, inspired and establish long lasting friendships is important.  Women of Worth (W.O.W.) ladies’ events are held monthly and range from: special evenings and breakfasts with guest speakers morning and afternoon teas movie and dessert nights special interest events e.g. “Healthy Eating Workshop”

Men’s Breakfasts

Several times throughout the year we hold men’s breakfasts.  It’s an opportunity to meet and make new “mates” as you catch up over a hot breakfast.  From time to time we invite a guest speaker to join us at our men’s meetings.

Family Days Out

Each year we hold several country car runs for the whole family to a “mystery” destination.  These family days out include a scenic drive, with a morning tea stop at a cafe along the way, then on to our intended destination for a barbecue picnic, and then on the way home, stopping for a refreshing afternoon tea break to complete the day’s events.  As well as our country car runs, we also host church family barbecues on-site at the church a couple of times a year.
